As Andrew succinctly put it earlier today, “”Must-see” just became “must-see uncut edition on DVD.” Congratulations, Lionsgate – if this is true, you pretty much killed the core audience interest in this film.
Not content with being situated as the sole wide release on the worst filmgoing weekend of the year (the post-Thanksgiving weekend), Latino Review reports that Lionsgate has decided to edit their upcoming “Punisher: War Zone” film down from a hardcore R-rating to a PG-13.

While that is the newest – I’ll believe it when I hear it from Lionsgate directly…not a dumb company mind you, just not very internet savvy, or maybe just with too-many cooks in their kitchen.
But then again, the second Hulk and Hellboy had little buzz because the 1st ones sucked so badly – so really, Lionsgate needs to work double-time with the online fanboys if they expect anyone to be suckered in for a third time…I mean really…the 3rd re-boot???!!!…that red-band trailer was the only thing saving it.
