R&C: Quest for Booty — Better Than Tools Of Destruction…?

So, not sure if there are any other Ratchet & Clank fans in the audience, but man, I can’t help but love these games. In my wow-I’m-tired spare time, I just finished the latest in the series, the downloadable-for-$15 Quest for Booty. Got to say, I agree more with this guy than the lackluster ratings I’ve seen from more hardcore folks.
I see where those dudes are coming from — yes, it’s a short title with similar gameplay elements to the others. But here’s the thing: the publishers really showed up and made an effot when they could’ve gone half-assed and still collected their ducats. The voice acting and script are great and funny, the story/plot is surprising and has real urgency, and it looks phenomenal. I’d go as far as saying it might be a better all-around title than Tools of Destruction, which I felt took itself too seriously and just felt routine and boring. People just seemed to have a better time making Quest for Booty, strangely enough.
Fingers crossed for the next full installment in this great, underappreciated series, due next fall.
