DC’s Overeactionary Censorship Train Rolls On

Rich has a special mid-week LitG up right now that looks a bit more closely at DC’s decision to pulp the latest issue of Action Comics because it may have appeared that good old Clark Kent was possibly enjoying a frosty malt beverage with his father on the cover. The new version of the issue makes it clear to everyone that Clark and Pa are merely throwing back some bottles of cold Soda Pop™, so the children are now safe to once again look up to the Man of Steel.
In further news, DC is now asking folks to return their issues of Batman Confidential #19 which featured several pages of a naked Batgirl tussling with a naked Catwoman in a room full of dozens of other naked people. Fret not - you’ll receive this new version that is much less offensive and more all-ages appropriate.

That’s a joke right? Who in their right minds would return this? Better yet, send them to me. I’ll send you a couple of old Richie Rich comics in return.
