One of my favorite types of media garbage is (are…?) local TV commercials, which you really can’t beat for sheer loveable earnestness, tackiness, low-budget charm, and, if you’re lucky, absolute doofy insanity.

Somewhat inspired by THIS, easily one of the greatest internet posts of all time, I leisurely scoured YouTube for some of my personal New York–New Jersey–Connecticut favorites from the past. Unfortunately I couldn’t locate my latest fave, which is for a local used car lot and features a skunk puppet as a salesman.

But anyways, if you guys have any others either from around NYC or wherever you live, please share them in the comments. Man I love these things.
